BR2 The Nutcracker

I will recommend a book "The Nutcracker."
This is a story about a girl Clara who got a strange present on Christmas Eve by her godfather. He always be able to happen something magical.
After the Christmas party, Clara went to her bed room. But she could not sleep because she was thinking about her presents. Finally she went to downstairs and she opened a present from godfather.Inside, she found a Nutcracker looks like a soldier. After that, she got sleepy then she was fast asleep under the Christmas tree with the Nutcracker.
She got up and looked around the room, there were some strange. The tree became sooo big and most of things in the room became bigger. She met a prince who looks like the Nutcracker and he called a lot of soldiers. Without notice, there were many mousses in the room then they started to fight! The Nutcracker Prince fought with the Mouse King. The Mouse King was so strong and he almost caught a won. But, Clara helped the Nutcracker Prince with her shoes! She threw it as hard as she could at Mouse King's head. He fell down on the the floor. Clara and the Nutcracker Prince were glad then they went to the trip to celebrate about their victory. They arrived at a Land of White Snow. They met an Ice Queen and she led them to her icy palace. There were eight ballerinas dancing with dressed in silver and white. Clara and the Nutcracker Prince saw their beautiful dance then the dance party end, it was a time to go.
Next, they arrived at the Land of Sweet! In this land, everything were made of sweets. Clara was surprised! The door opened and a fairy came to meet them. The Nutcracker introduced to Clara about her. "She is the Sugarplum Fairy and she is a leader of the Land of Sweets!" The Sugarplum Fairy led them into a grand hall. They sat on the chair which made of raspberry mousse then the dances started! They appeared each country; chocolate from Spain, coffee from Arabia and tea from China. As last of dance, they dressed as flowers. They performed a slow waltz for Clara. After that, it was time to go home. They said good bye sadly and Clara and the Nutcracker rode on the sleigh. Clara was so tired so she fell asleep next to him.
When she got up, she was under the Christmas tree in the room alone. She was sad that she was in just a dream. But the message tag that her godfather had attached to the Nutcracker said "I hope this protect you." Clara thought that it was not just a dream!!

I have liked this story "The Nutcracker" since before. So it was fun for me to read and to write. I would like to through these strange happening. I want to go to the Land of Sweets and I want to see the dance from other countries. Thank you for reading this long book review.(510words:2176words)

I belong to flower arrangement club. We had making a room which full of many flowers! Their were two groups for this event. In my group, we made a floral clock.

In my group, we express a world in Europe.

→This is an album that we made for our senior in flower arrangement club.
It is a black simple album originally, but we put on a lot of artificial flowers on book cover. We have eleven seniors so we made eleven albums.
In my club, there are only three girls who are in the second grade. Kana and Haruna and I. So we made these albums by just three girls. It was so hard! Because we participated in the activity to make flower room for school festival all day long. We assembled after the activity in family restaurant, Joyful! It was about 10 p.m. We started to make albums from night to morning.
In first grade, there are ten girls. They are very kind and soooo gooood girls! They often helped us during this working. I love them so much.
On second November, we had a party for end the work for school festival. We prepared flowers for each senior. And we gave the flower and album to them. They were glad and start to crying. We cried, too. This party was just the place that we have to change generation. So I acted as the master of ceremony and after that I became a president of flower arrangement club!!(259words:1666words)

-It takes 3 to 4 hours. It is fun for me to watch movies. I think it is not so effective even if I watch a movie once in English. If I watch a movie once in Japanese and over two times in English, It can be an exercise for me.

ES1 Shrek

I am going to write about a movie 'SHREK.'
Shrek is main character in this movie but he is big green monster. In this kingdom, they do not like monster and fairy; these strange living things. Of course, they hate Shrek so they want him to go out of their town. But he is strong so they are not able to get rid of him. Someday, many fairies were exiled to the area where were Shrek's home. Shrek did not want them to be there so he became angry. He decided to meet Farquadd who did this exile. He want to be a king and he always think about just himself. Shrek started went there with Donkey who can speak language! He is very very chatter so Shrek often fight shy of him. (But they look good duo for me...) They arrived there and Farquadd said to them "If you will be able to help Fiona, I am going to rebate these fairies. Fiona is sleeping in the castle, but there is big dragon! You have to take out Fiona without injuries. "
Then Shrek and Donkey started to go to the castle. They arrived there then they divide their job. Donkey took Charge of Look for stairs and Shrek took charge of Dragon. However, unfortunately, Donkey encounter with dragon. But he had no idea what to do. He just run and run and run! On the other hand, Shrek met Fiona and he took out her from the room. Finally, Shrek fought dragon for help Donkey and Fiona. Dragon could not go after them so they run away from the castle safely! On their way to the place where Farquadd were, they noticed that they were both attracted to each other. But Fiona had a secret. It was that her appearance change into the ugly monster. So she could not reveal all of her. But they misunderstood each other so Fiona decided to married with Farquadd. However, Shrek noticed that he did misunderstand and Fiona reveal her secret to him. Of course Shrek did not mind that so they caught a happy life.(354words:1231words)

BR1 Viking Adventure

This book showed me a dream. It makes me excited. This story is an occurrence around a boy who has a magic key. The boy is called Kipper. Kipper had a strange experience by this key. He told to his friends but nobody believes him. He said that this key sometimes glow and make strange things. But they said that they have never seen these things. So, they pulled a blanket themselves. Then, the key started to glow.The next moment they were in a long ship with many Vikings. Vikings watch for children at first. But, they seemed to gradually interchange with children. Children cooperated with Vikings to get over many troubles by the power of magic key. Finally, they land a island and enjoyed celebration. They had a special experience thanks to a magic key!I like this fantasy like "Harry Potter" and "Darren Shan". I often read these fantastic stories when I was in junior high school. I want to try to read "Harry Potter" in English　someday.(174 wards:877words)

I was given this holder from my best friend, Akiko. We have known each other since 5 years ago. We met in high school entrance ceremony. She was very tall and so slender so I felt she was like fashion models.
We became friends soon and talk about many things not only romance but also hobbies. She was interested in fashion. beauty, music and ballet. I was interested in same things and especially in ballet, I often spoke to her. Akiko said to me that she has wanted to challenge ballet but she gave up because of her height. I did ballet when I was in junior high school and I know that professional ballerina was almost very tall and it was the reason why they looks so beautiful. So I wanted Akiko to do ballet. Anyway we often talked about ballet.
And then, we liked same foreign singer. Who's name was Avril Lavigne. We sometimes went to Karaoke and sung Avril's songs. Of course we did not understand all these words but we sung rhythmically with haphazard words. It was very merry time for us.
We have been friends no matter how my course had stepped away from hers.
Now, I am in a college and she is in a professional school but we make time to see each other and talk about own school. own life and own future. This time is my healing. Probably I like her so much! I think that I want to be friends forever.
I met Akiko June sixth. Her birthday was June second so I gave cake for her. I chose Mango tart because she love Mango. She looked happy and I would be happy.
Then, she toot a cute holder of her bag(photo1). This character is my favorite character, Rilakkuma. I love this bear. She of course knows what I like.

Recently, Suzannu is very famous on TV. She is my friend' older sister. As you know, her name is Mao. She is in Kumamoto Gakuen University. She and I were the same high school and I had been to Australia with her in my school programs. We love Australia and often talk about the memories.

Now, she called "Margarine" in the world of entertainment. She sometimes appears national CMs and national TVs. Akiko and I went her mothers bar. There were many men and they spoke to Mao a lot. The bar was so prosper. I think that Mao will be a TV performer soon.

I am in Kumamoto~!

I had been in Minnesota as study trip. I got a lots memories. I met many kind people!! I would like to look back my special days in Minnesota.

When I was in Kumamoto before leave to Minnesota, I was communicated with my host parents on the Internet.
They often said, “We are looking forward to meet you!” It made me happy and ease.
My first impression about Minnesota was the beautiful sky and the vast ground. I could feel nature very close here.
And many people I Minnesota were so kind to us; Host family, Joel, Linda, Cassie, Kailey and others. Of course, I really appreciate my friends from Kumamoto.
They let my mind open gradually.
First, I could not talk with American well. I was scared that I could not communicate well because of my English skill. But I tried to speak in ESL class. Than Cassie always listened kindly my poor English. It made me ease to speak.
So I tried to talk with Joel, Linda, Kailey and host family. Certainly, I sometimes could not get what they said. But I am not scared now. I ask them when I want to know. I tell them when I think something. It was the best things that I leaned in Minnesota.
I really appreciate to my host family.
Alaina aways talks to me. She is funny and kind woman so I am happy when I am talking with her. Derek is always so gentle. I glad for his kindness of heart. I made concrete. I went to wedding. I went shopping. I participated in the garage sale. I went to zoo. I rode a jet ski etc… I will never forget theses wonderful memories!!
