Astronaut Snoopy Exhibition!!

I have two tickets of Astronaut Snoopy Exhibition.
My friend gave me because I like Snoopy!
The reason why I like Snoopy is it is from Minnesota.
I saw big figure at Minnesota Airport.
I took a picture there.
We went the exhibition about Minnesotan History in Minneapolis. We heard explanation about Snoopy by staff.
I bought a cup at one dolor shop near my host family’s house in Minnesota.
Now I use the cup in my house♪
After back to Japan, I said to many my friends that I like Snoopy! Do you know how cute Snoopy is? And so on…
So they know that I like Snoopy.
I am going to see the exhibition with my boy friend in summer vacation.
I am looking forward to go there so much!

spring BR14 My Best Friend's a Genius

I read a book “My Best Friend is a Genius.”
So I would like to write about this book as book review.
In this story, there were two boys. They were so friendly.
Gary is a usual boy. His friend, Miles, is a genius. He is smart and he invents things.
One day, Miles thought he would like to make hyper phone to connect alien.
He believed that aliens are exit and he can talk if he invent hyper phone!
Gary did not think it is enabling but Miles did not listed voices when he wanna make something.
Miles made a hyper phone few days after. They tried to call…but they did not know what number they should call.
But suddenly, the mobile phone rang! Miles pressed the speaker phone button.
A high pitched, squeaky sound came out of the phone. Slowly, the strange sounds turned into words…
“Who are you and where are you from?” the voice said.
“My name is Miles. I am from Earth. This is my friend Gary. We are in Australia on Earth. What planet are you from?” said Miles.
“Planet? I am on Earth.” The voice said.
“You are not an alien??” said Miles but the voice laughed.
Miles looked really disappointed.
At that time, Miles’s mother called Miles and she was angry.
Miles went downstairs.
As Miles left the room, the voice on the phone asked, “You say you are in Australia?”
“Yes,” said Gary.
“But Australia does not exist any more. It became a part of the Oceanic Republic over 100 years ago.”
He was surprised and said “What!? …What year is it?”
The voice said “It is 2156, of course.”
Suddenly, there was another crackle of electricity and phone went dead.
Gary pressed “Last number” button.
But…
“I am sorry, but the number you are trying to reach is unavailable.”
Strange voice said.
It was most strange experience Gary had never had.

I think this story is scary. And I think that I can not put up with these trouble if I was in this situation.(345words)

spring BR13 Clever Rabbit and the Lion

Hello. I am going to talk about a book “Clever Rabbit and the Lion.”

Once upon a time, in a great big jungle lived a great big lion. He had a great big paws and very sharp claws.
“I am king of the jungle!” He often roared.
“I am going to eat you all up.”
“No!” Many small animals cried.
“Don’t worry,” said clever rabbit. He had a plan.
One day the lion roar “Where are you all animal? You are small and weak so I am going to eat.”
Small animals hid from the lion then the clever rabbit was stand front of the lion and he said “I am here. You can eat me!”
“I tried to come before, but a great big lion stopped me…” he said.
“I am the only lion in this jungle!” lion said.
“Not you. This lion has bigger paws and sharper claws!” rabbit said.
Lion was surprised and he said to rabbit to take him to the lion.
Clever rabbit led lion to the deep, wide river and said “He lives in there.”
Lion looked into the water. Another lion looked back. It was his picture but the lion did not notice.
Lion shoo; his head so other lion did too.
He leaped at the lion in the water…and he was swept away!

All animals pleased lion has gone. Lion called “Help!” but they said “We can not! We are small and weak!!”
Lion let out one last roar…and he was never seen again.

I like the last speech, ”We are small and weak!”
It is funny story and it is easy to read so I did not get tired.
I would like to recommend this book to everyone.

spring BR12 The Hare and the Tortoise

Hi. I would like to talk about the book I read today as a book review. The title of this book is “The Hare and The Tortoise.”
This is famous story all over the world. The story is one of Aesop’s Fables. Nobody knows exactly who Aesop was, but the stories are still popular today, and they are known all around the world.

In this story, there were a hare called Harry. He is fastest around many animals. They respect him and he thought that he should be fastest in the world. He often be boasting to his friend tortoise called Tom. Tom did not think that Harry was not especially good animal. But Harry was proud of himself and he was always laughing at Tom.
One day, Harry held a race and Tom tried to run with Harry. Harry never believes that Tom is going to win. They thought so too and they could not understand why Tom decided to join the race.
Harry did training harder than before but Tom did nothing.
After start the race, Harry ran so fast and many audiences could not see Harry soon. Tom was running so slowly but he did not in haste.
As soon as Harry was out of sight, He stopped beside a tree to rest. After all his early morning training, he was very tired. Nobody was looking. He had plenty of time t sit down for a while. He would still win the race easily.
His eyes started closing. But he thought taking nap would make it even funnier when he won the race.
Meanwhile, Tom Tortoise was slowly making his was along the course. Most of the audiences had gone straight to the finish line. Nobody saw Harry sleeping under the tree.
Hours passed. The sun was setting and the air was cool. Harry woke with a start. He remembered the race! He hadn’t meant to sleep for so long… Anyway he stared running.
He could see the finish line and there were many animals. At that moment he saw a small. Broun shell shape coming up to the line. He ran faster than ever before. But he could not beat Tom…

I think that this story tells us “slow and steady wins the race.”(378words)

Summer and Autumn

Hi. I would like to talk about my summer vacation.
I thought that this summer is last summer for me to enjoy as a university student! But I have no time to use freely maybe.
I would like to do everything I can for club so I want to use my summer vacation for preparing school festival.
I do not think that is not most important thing in the university but I wanna do my best and I wanna get prize at last!
So I am going to spend my summer time with my friends in my club and I am going to make many memories with them.
Of course I have to go class and study in autumn for graduation!

spring BR11 MAKING HEADLINES

Hi. Today, I am going to talk about the book “MAKING HEADLINES.”
I knew that headline is the words on the news paper because we took the class about Reading three. We learned about news paper and headlines by Mr.Kamimoto.
In this story, one boy named Magee was warned by teacher,Ms Cramble, because he did not listen her saying. She said to him to work on news paper as his task.
He joined the team making news paper. There are only one girl whose name is Tilly. She is good at everything. One day, they looked a doubtful boy at the corner in the school ground. Brad Biggens sneaking into the office. And he came out with something in his hand. He quickly pushed whatever it was under his shirt, and ran to the gate.
Few days after, they could take some photos about Brad and he was arrested by police.
Tilly and Magee made news paper about the story.
Next Monday, Ms Cramble was holding the newspaper. “Good headline,” she said. She was giving to Magee funny smile.
Magee thought that she is talking about the headline “BRAD TAKES NOTES, POLICE TAKE BRAD.” But then Magee saw she was looking at a different story “CLOCK COLLECTOR NOT SO CUCKOO AFTER ALL.”

I could enjoy reading this story. It is funny for me. And I like the ending with Ms Cramble’s speech. I think headline is important for the story and it sometime appears rhythmic sentence.(246words)

MY REPORT

I don't know that it is OK to put my report of KAIGAIKENSHU. But I heard that most of the students who had the class about KAIGAIKENSHU put their reports to their blog so I try it.If it is bad thing, I will not count these words. So if it is not allowed please tell me...

1. Introduction
How do you welcome Christmas and New Year? Japanese think these days are special days, and American people must think these days are special days, too. This idea is same among both countries.Christmas is a memorial day of the day Jesus Christ was born. Christians have celebrated this day since a long time ago. But now, many people all over the world are joining this celebration even if they are not Christian. For example, in Japan, some people believe in another god, but they celebrate Christmas day with family and friends and boyfriend or girlfriend.New Year is the beginning of a fresh year. Japan has many customs around New Year’s Day. Maybe some other countries have their own customs as well. It is interesting to compare their different customs and life style on New Year’s Day in America and Japan.To explore these different customs, I made a questionnaire for both Japanese and Americans. They answered the same questions. I will compare the differences and similarities that the questionnaire has.

2. In Kumamoto
In Japan, we spend Christmas with family or friends or boyfriend or girlfriend. We get together in our house or restaurant to eat something special. Children get Christmas presents from Santa Claus, even though it is actually a surprise from their parents.New Years Eve’s is welcomed with family eating buckwheat noodles and going to temples. We ring the watch-night bell each time we go there. We also go to a shrine on New Year’s Day, and often draw a fortune slip. Of course some people spend New Year with their boyfriend or girlfriend. They go to a shrine and draw a fortune slip, too. There are fortune slips especially for “LOVE” so many Japanese couples buy them. But they enjoy these events after cleanup. It is one of the main customs in Japanese end of the year. We have a custom to clean the house. The reason why we clean our house before welcome New Year is to have “TOSHIGAMI” in our house. It is a name of god who comes to each house on New Years Day. From old days to now, many Japanese have continued this custom.According to the questionnaire, some Japanese tend to take a lot of time to spend some events; for example, New Year's visit to a shrine, with their boyfriend or girlfriend. Of course they like their family and friends. But they had an idea that they should to spend these events with their boyfriend or girlfriend.

3. In the US
According to the questionnaire, American people tend to spend Christmas day with their family and friends. Surprisingly, they do not spend Christmas with their boyfriend or girlfriend. They have a lot of time to spend with their family; they often go to dinner with their family to eat chicken or Mexican foods.Before New Year, they do not clean their house especially like Japanese. They spend time relaxing, eating some foods and watching TV. They do not do any special work. Some Americans wrote on the questionnaire that they were lazy.On New Year’s Day, they gather at someone’s house and eat foods they brought. It is similar to Christmas in America. They enjoy New Years days without customs. If they have boyfriend or girlfriend, they spend New Year’s Day as a couple. They may go to parties with their boyfriend or girlfriend.A few weeks later they do clean their house like Japanese year-end cleanup because the temperature gets warmer. They do this with the good weather in spring, and this is called “spring cleaning.”

4. Conclusion
Japanese people have some stereotypes about American people. It was that Americans must be crazy about their boyfriends or girlfriends. So I thought that maybe the questionnaires’ answers would be filled by the word “boyfriend” and “girlfriend” and that surely they must be deeply in love. In Japan people are ashamed to be close to their boyfriend or girlfriend in the public places, and they tend to spend annual events only by themselves. They spend with their family before or after that. But, in America, they spend these events with family and friends and it includes their boyfriend or girlfriend. They are so friendly and parents do not mind that their daughter or son is necking.I could not experience the Christmas and New Year in Minnesota directly, so I asked people how they spend Christmas and New Year. My host mother, Alaina, said that they always gather at a friend’s house and all of them bring some special foods. They have a buffet party and they play some games. There are many foods in the kitchen so they go there and dish out what they want to eat as they like.In Japan, they often go outside. They go out to dinner, they go shopping and they go to see Christmas illuminations. If they spend Christmas in their house, they buy or make some special foods and they put dishes which have these foods on the table. They sit on the chair and surround the table. Then, they start to eat and talk together. In Japan, there are Christmas presents for children from their parents. According to the interviews to the Japanese students in Kumamoto Gakuen University, they get these presents on the bedside. In America, they put these presents from parents and relatives under the Christmas tree.In Japan, they prepare the house for New Year. They clean their house and their office hard. They buy round rice cakes offered to the gods at New Year’s time. They eat special foods in the New Year Eve and go to temple to ring the watch-night bell. On the New Year Day, in Japan, children can get New Year’s presents of money from relatives. We eat “Osechi.” It is traditional meal in Japan.After New Year’s days, when it is coming that warm season, Americans begin spring cleaning. They do cleanup their house. It is similar to Japanese year-end cleanup. They are wiser than Japanese because they can do it without cold. They have this opportunity so they do not clean their house at the year-end. ICE CANDY

Hi. It was humid cloudy today. I put on YUKATA as my part-time job’s staff. July 18th and 19th were YUKATA festival in downtown. Did you know that? I worked on the street near my coffee shop putting on YUKATA. It was too hot! I was standing on the street almost 8 hours. I could not stand straightly at last. I sometime sat down on the bench near my shop. I vended ice candy. There were about 11 kinds of taste. I want you to eat these ice candies. These are so good and we can feel cool with it. Please eat it when you want to feel cool at downtown! I will show you the tastes. Strawberry, Milk, Chocolate, Powdered green tea, Black tea, Mango, Blue apple, Coffee, Salty milk, ADZUKI and WASABI. Everything is delicious and I want recommend you to eat all of them!(147words)

spring BR10 BUZZ SEES THE DIFFERENCE

I want to talk about “BUZZ SEES THE DIFFERENCE.” I read this book as book review.
It was not realistic story.
They are crazy creatures. BUZZ and ZIP are citizen in planet Zero. He went the peace conference at planet Seven.
There were many strange creatures so BUZZ thought they are ugly.
ZIP did not mind that and he thought BUZZ is not quiet and he is not calm.
BUZZ heard that other creatures said that this place is going to explode in few minutes.
BUZZ was surprised and he could not move. After they went away, he went back to ZIP and he said about bomb. But ZIP did not believe him because BUZZ does not have trust. But BUZZ never give up and he stood on the table and he shout for many creatures.
They started to escape. But one creature has not move. He could not see and watch because of headset. BUZZ talked to him but he noticed that the creature is the ugliest one. But he tried to touch his shoulder. The creature took off the headset and they run together.

I could not understand the story well…But I think that BUZZ could talk to strange creature and they could escape. It is good thing.(210words)

spring BR9 The Coat

I am going to show you a book which title is “The Coat.”
This story is not easy for me.
In this story, the boy Mark will move. He heard that his neighbor cried. It was man. Mark listened to mans speaking.
“Where is my coat!?”
His daughter said “I think I put it out for the garbage truck this morning.”
Man was sobbing and he said “It was not just an old coat. The pockets were full of treasure.”
Mark listened to the voice so he thought that he can get the treasures. He started to follow the garbage truck by bicycle. At least, he could find mans coat at the top of the rubbish bag.
He went back to his home and he opened the pockets. He found an old fob watch, a faded photo of a young woman, a locket, bottle tops and a shark’s tooth.
He could not find any dollars or diamonds or emeralds or rubies.
He was not sure what to do with it. Maybe he should take it back to the dump.
But next morning, Mark found the man in his garden. Suddenly Mark knew what to do.
“Hello” said Mark.
“I found your coat.”
The old man looked surprised as he took his coat from Mark.
“How did you get? Where was this coat?” he asked.
Then, he looked at the faded photo.
“You have made an old man very happy,” he said.
“Good!” smiled Mark.

This is not just good story. Mark thought that he could get other’s treasure first.
But finally he could change his mind. It is good story I thought.

Worst days in my life

Hi. Today, I would like to talk about worst days in my life.
I have an experience to be operated right eye because of detachment of the retina. It was about three years ago. When I was studying hard at night for end-of-term examination on second year in high school, I noticed that I could not look on my right eye well. I felt discomfort in my right eye but I had no time to go to ophthalmology. Eventually, I went there after two weeks by the first unease. At there, I was shocked at ophthalmologist’s word. “You have to operate soon. You should enter university hospital tomorrow and you should operate your right eye tomorrow.” I could not understand what he said. But he called my parents to his ophthalmology and he did some procedure to university hospital to operate tomorrow. I could not believe that I will be operated tomorrow.
I cried so much and I scared to failure. I went home with sadness and next day I went to university hospital. I was operated my right eye with general anesthesia. My operation took about five hours to finish. The first time I opened my eyes after operation, I felt pain on my right eye so much. I could not see myself first. And next day I tried to see my eye and I shocked at my red eye. It looked not human’s eye. Too red!!
I could not take off the gauze almost one month after that because of bad appearance. After discharge of the hospital, I backed to high school. I had headache at least 5 minutes reading book. But now, I can read book and use eyes almost usual. I can sports I can run I can wash my face freely! I cannot see the world on my right eye because my right eye’s retina cannot remedy my eyesight. But I can see with my left one so I can enjoy my life.

21years old

I became 21 years old today!
I was celebrated by many people this year. I am so happy and I really appreciated them.
Today, I had exam in “History of Britain” class and I had a meeting about Takuma Festival in autumn. After that I had explanation about teaching course. So I was busy today. After that I was celebrated by about thirty people and I did “PAI NAGE”. My friend threw the cake to my face! I cannot believe that at the first time. But I thought that it was …good…memorial….for me!
And I was celebrated in my club at club meeting at university. I felt happy so much!
“I want give them more special birthday” I thought.
And I would like to throw cake to my friend someday!!!!(130words)

TRAINING

Recently I often listen to “English as a Second Language Podcast.” I have iPod so I listen this podcast when I walk outside and I ride bicycle to go school or to downtown. I think it is good for me to improve my English skills. Originally I liked listening English music and watch English movies. And I knew that to listening English everyday is so good for learner better than speaking English in my seminar in University. “English as a Second Language Podcast” is not difficult for me to listen. But it has enough spans to listen seriously. I do not feel dullness so I can keep trying this practice. I would like to understand English better and better and I would like to use English someday. I think it is fun for me to expose English better than last year. So I can enjoy reading English books as book reviews.(152words)

spring BR8 Bertha

Hi. Today, I am going to talk about a book. The name of the book is “Bertha.”
This story is about a family they want to buy new car.
They have a car its name is Bertha. They like the car but it is getting old. So they decided to buy new one.
Father wants to buy black one.
Mother wants to buy yellow one.
Son wants to buy purple one.
And daughter wants to buy pink one.
They tried some car out but they found any complaint on it. They were accustomed to riding Bertha so they could not chose other cars.
Then they abandoned to but new car once.
They restart riding Bertha but it would be getting older and older. And it would be almost broken car. One day, they go travel and they used taxi and plane. On the way to home, son said “We should get new car…” Then, father said “I already bought new car. It is waiting us at home now!” Mother, son and daughter were looking forward to see new car.
Finally they felt happy with new car.
It was “NEW BERTHA.”

I like this story. It is important to take in high-tech things but we should treasure to have warm heart such as this family.

My cell phone...

Hi. I am going to talk about my cell phone.
I bought a cell phone by my self about 15 month ago. But I broke it after half a year.
It was not to be able to tell and send mails. So I went to phone shop and I give to repair it. It cost over 5000yen. After about 2weeks, I got renew one. It was shinny and looks brand-new. But, it was broken after 1 month!! I could not believe it! I think it is not my responsibility. But I can not go phone shop again because I have no more money. I pay 2000yen every month for this machine. And I pay about 10000 yen as charge. It was stress to me! I can not repair again so I do not use it now. I was given my sister’s old cell phone so I borrow it to use.
But it was like new phone so I want to use… What should I do?(165words)

spring BR7 The Inventor's Club

Hi. Today I would like to show you a book. I read “The Inventors’ Club” as a book review.
In this book, there are four kids they are interested in inventor. They built The Inventor’s Club their selves. Chad, Ben, Bianca and Jodie raced from school to Chad’s house for the meeting of the Inventor’s Club. At each meeting, one of the inventors showed all the others an invention they had made. Last Thursday, it was Bianca’s turn to show off her invention. She put on some basketball shoes. Chad, Ben and Jodie watched her. Bianca stood up when she had put on the shoes. “What is so special about your basketball shoes?” laughed Chad. “Just wait and see!” said Bianca. “Just pretend I am playing basketball,” said Bianca. She move as a basket player and she said “I go for the hoop!” Bianca acted out what she was saying. “Then I leap into the air…Goal!!” she shouted. The others could not believe how high Bianca leapt into the air.
She showed the others the springs that were glued to the bottom of them.
“That is a great invention,” said Jodie.
“Let me have a go,” said Ben. “I made them for someone my size. They won’t work on you,” said Bianca. But he grabbed the shoes. It was tight but he could put them on.
He acted like a basketball player just like Bianca, and he yelled “I leap in the air with one second to go!”
Ben went higher and higher. He was heading for the open window. The others ran to the window and looked outside. Ben was hanging on to a tree, high above the ground.
“Help me!” he yelled. The other just laughed and laughed.
“I said you would be too heavy,” Bianca told Ben.
“Just help me get down from here!” Ben yelled.

This story is funny and I leaned that I should not do without agreement.
I like this club and I want to see more invention by them.

spring BR6 SCARY MOVIE

Hi. Today, I am going to talk about a book as a book review. The title of the book is “Scary Movie”

Mr. and Mrs. Smith handed the girls their phone number in case they needed to call. They stayed at home as baby-sitter. Their names are Rebecca and Simone.
Mr. Smith tapped the top of a glass cage on his way out. And he said “Do not worry about Gary, He looks a little scary but he would not hurt a fly.” Mr. and Mrs. Smith then left for dinner. Rebecca asked “Who is Gary?” then Simone walked over to the glass cage and looked inside. But she could not find anything. And she said”I do not know what Mr. Smith was talking about.”
Rebecca put on the DVD which they were given by Mr. and Mrs. Smith for resource. Rebecca reached for the remote control to turn up the sound. Suddenly, she saw three long legs curling up over the couch.
“Argh!” she screamed and jumped back. Simone turned around. Her eyes were as big as basketballs. A huge spider was crawling over the back of the couch. She gasped. Rebecca dropped the remote control. “Do something! Do something!” Simone shouted. Simone tried to breathe slowly and she asked “What are we going to do?” Rebecca whispered “Nothing.”
Suddenly, the spider crawled across the seat, and jumped on top of the remote control. The two girls sat silently while the movie kept playing. The spider did not move an inch.
“I cannot take this any longer. I am going to make a run for it!” whispered Simone. “No, do not!” cried Rebecca.
Suddenly, the door opened. Mr. and Mrs. Smith were back from dinner. Mr. Smith noticed that spider was not in glass cage and he scooped up it in his hands. Then, he gave a kiss to him, and showed him to the girls. “See how friendly Gary is? He would not hurt a fly!” he said.

I think this book is good story. But I cannot put up with big spider on same couch. What do you think?

Today I am going to tell about my favorite book. The title of the book is “Becky no Kokoro no Tobira.”
Do you know about Becky!?? She is like an angel! Have you ever heard her message?

Everyone is receiving love. Everyone is needed by someone. It is sad just to say “I hate him”. You should to use the energy to come true your dream!

You have one chance to save our idea in your mind. You should not to say everything what you thought. We have to think in your mind which is the true saying or holding your tongue.

We have no limit to do effort!!

I cannot change my past however I have regret.
I cannot back to past however I try heard.
So I should think that every happening was correct, every my choice was correct.

University Life

Today, I am going to talk about my university life.
I am a student junior in Kumamoto Gakuen University.
When I was a freshman, I did part-time job hard in first half a year and I retired the job. I joined an activity of clubs. I belonged to the flower arrangement club and It was in Cultural club. We invest for school festival every year. So I used most of my time to join the activity. It was my special memories and I never forgot this youth days.
In my sophomore days, I tried many things in my club. We had so great underclassmen and I wanted to cherish them. In my club, there were only three girls in my age so I did everything I could for them. And after the school festival, upperclassmen retired the club then we would be the senior members. We take over the club from them and I would be a reader. I sometimes felt these things were burden before but I can feel many happiness and gladness now.
Now I can say that I am so happy with my post and I love my friends in my club. I would like to make a lot of remembrances. I have only five months for club so I want to join every event with my best. I am thinking most of my times about club but it is not burden. I would like to make more wonderful club and I would like to give the club to underclassmen with wonderful mode.(256words)

The Most Memorable Day In My Life

Today, I would like to talk about “the most memorable day in my life.”
I had many special memories and I often show my great memories in Minnesota. But today, I am going to talk about my great memories in Australia. I went to Sydney in a program in high school in summer vacation. It was a short trip to study abroad for applicant.
I went there when I was sophomore in high school. I went there with my friend Yuri and Mao and other student. There were about twenty students and a teacher in this program. It was my first trip to overseas so I was under extreme tension. I had never contacted to host family before I met first. I got only one paper that was written about their family structure and their profile easily. I had known that my family’s name is Cameron and they are four members.
I was little excited but I became tense so much. We went to Singapore first and changed an airplane. And then, we met many boys and girls who were Australian. They were a band and they went back to their home town at that time. I talked a little but I could not communicate enough. But Mao could talk a lot and she got a mail address of good boy. She is Margarine as you know. She was active and she used English even if she could not speak well. I respected her and I thought that I would be more aggressive.
Anyway, I arrived at airport in Sydney but it was midnight. We went hotel near airport and went to sleep with exciting. Next day, I met my host family. My mother picked me up at school and we went to home. I was given my own room. I wanted to be inside room. But I knew that they often open the door. So I tried to be opened the door and I was in living room.
My host mother was so kind and she always smiling. I could not live there without her. She always took care of me.
My host father was so kind, too. He was a cock so he made dinner every night. It was amazing thing for me. His meal was so delicious. He often made some sweet after dinner and it was really nice. He made apple pie and sweet pizza and so on. I love his meal very much.
I had a sister Kayte. She is same as old as me. She looks like Avril Lavigne. She was so cute and cool. Sew was so kind, too. When I was asked “Who is your favorite singer?” by Kayte, I said “Avril Lavigne.” So when I came back to Japan, she gave me a CD of Avril.
And, I had a brother Jack. He was fourteen years old but he is over 180cm. It was amazing and I fall in love with him. He was in Australian Football Team and he trained hard. I was taken to the game of AFL at museum. It was so great and I had really good time there. I thought that Jack will be wonderful player some day.
I had great time there and I think that they are my second family. This memory is my tresure. I really appreciate them and I would like to visit there in the future.

My favorite animal is dog. I have never had dogs. But most of my friends have dogs and all of them say “My dog is especially cute! My dog is NO.1!” They love their dogs.

Recently, I sometimes go to see dog for pet shop. I love to see them. But I feel little pity for them.

Maybe I am going to have a Tea cup Poodle or a Toy Poodle some day. I watched a movie “The story of Mari and poppy.” It is an Japanese movie. In this movie, there are cute four Shiba. This movie made me sad and my heart was wormed.
By the way, I would like to have cats, too. Cats are so cool and they are not friendly like dogs, but some time they are so pretty and friendly.

Hi. Today I am going to recommend a book as a book review.
The title of this book is “The Bully.”
I was studying about bully in Minnesota in the U.S. I am interested in bullying because I had a interest about psychology.
In this story, there are two main characters. Josh is a kind kid and he is in a class which was so great before Martin Mackenzie arrived.
Martin is a transfer student and he is loud, rude and had a bad temper.
On the last day of term, Josh’s friend Harley said to him.” Martin is looking at you.”
Josh was scared and he did not know what to do. He has never done anything to Martin so he has no idea.
After school, Martin talked to Josh “See you on Monday, Josh!” from behind Josh. He could not know what Martin was saying. He turned and saw Martin grinning at him and he asked “What are you talking about?”
Martin said “Did not your mum tell you?” Josh was not told anything from his mum.
But Martin was going to stay with Josh’s house next two weeks.
It is the beginning of bad days for Josh. Martin came to his house and he was so gentleman when Josh’s Mum is there.
But, as soon as she gone, Martin turned mean. There was nothing Josh could do about it.
Josh told his Mum how horrible Martin was to Josh.
He thought that he was comforted by his Mum but she did not. She said “Martin’s dad left, so his mother moved the family every time she found a better job. Martin used to make new friends but they always forgot about him when he moved. I think he is unfriendly from the first, so he won’t be disappointed when he leaves.”
After that, Josh tried to treat Martin as his best friend no matter how he acts. It was Josh’s Mum’s idea. It was hard for Josh but he kept it. At last, Martin stopped bullying Josh. Then Josh knew that Martin is a nice kid.
And they had good news. Martin’s Mum has decided her new job is perfect, so they won’t have to move again.
Finally, they would be a real best friend and Martin could get new friends.

It is good story and I like Josh. He is so kind and he made up Martin nice kid was great. I would like to think why he is so mean, why she is so wicked if I met not good persons.

Hi. Today, I would like to talk about a book” The Riddle of the Camel Race.”
I chose this book because I like the picture.
In this story, there is very cruel sultan. This sultan ruled his kingdom with an iron fist.
It really was an iron fist, because he had lost his one hand in a fight of sword. Everyone in the land did exactly what the sultan has ordered. They were so afraid not to because if they do not exactly what the sultan ordered they must go prison.
For most of the year, the sultan ordered his people to do normal kingdom-type-jobs. For example, the sultan ordered people to do guarding his castle, hunting for his food and clipping his toenails.
But, one day, on the sultan’s birthday, he called two of his subjects, Ali and Baboo.
He said” My challenge for you two is a camel race.” They thought that dose not sound too bad. But he continued,” The winner of the race is the person whose camel comes last! The loser will get five years in prison and a tattoo of me on chest to remind of his failure.”
Ali and Baboo were led to the starting line of the race. They were ready to go, but their movement were so slowly. Neither man wanted to get ahead of the other.
They started to go but they were going so slowly that before long their camels stopped. They did not know what to do.
The kingdom’s wisest person named Shiraz approached the men. She told something to both of them. After that, they leapt on their camel and dug their heels into the animal.
They raced towards the finish line as quickly as they could. Each man was anxious to get to the finish line first.
Those who were watching the race were surprised at what they were seeing.
They approached Shiraz that what she said to them.
She said” I just told each of them to get on the other man’s camel. After all, the winner is the person whose camel comes last.”

It is a funny story and I think Shiraz is clever very well. (362words)

My treasure

I am going to talk about my treasure. My treasure is my friend in my club. I love them. I had had two girls in same age and ten girls who are younger than us. And we could welcome new friends in this spring. We got twenty freshmen and they are all girls. It is happiness for me so much. I am a reader of this club so I would like to make them happy. I would like to make their school life better and better.
I know that I am not important and I always feel they support me very well. I appreciate them so much and I love them so much. Some readers in other club are little pride and they think they are No. 1. But it is a mistake. All clubs are made up of all members in each club.
I am a third year student so I will have to retire this club in this autumn. I am so sad. I would like to make a lot of memories with my friends and I would like to content of my club life when I will retire. So of course I would like to enjoy with friends in other clubs. I could get many friends in other clubs because I did try many activities. I would like to tell my friends and underclassman that they should join many activities. The oranges rolled under his feet and the boy fell over! Finally, Ben could take the red bag!
Ben gave the bag to the woman. And the woman gave him a box which is full by oranges.

I am going to talk about the book “The Giant’s Causeway.”
It is a story about a giant, Finn, and a giantess, Oonagh, in Ireland and a giant, Benandonner, in Scotland.
Finn and Oonagh were living together in a quiet cave by the sea.
One day, Benandonner shout to Finn that Benandonner is the strongest giant.
But he did not come to fight Finn because he could not swim. So Finn decided that he will make a causeway between Ireland and Scotland.
After the making causeway, Benandonner began to walk on the causeway.
Oonagh found that and she noticed Benandonner is bigger than Finn! And Finn was so tired because he was making causeway for a longtime so he did not have enough stamina. Then, she got an idea! She dressed Finn baby’s cloth.
Benandonner came into Finn’s cave and find him. But he could not find. Oonagh said to him that he should go back or this baby will get up! He came to see the baby but the baby bit Benandonner’s hand strongly. Then, Benandonner thought that if this baby’s father is Finn, Finn is too strong! So Benandonner went back to his island. And after this trouble, he never gave any trouble.
And, Finn picked up some mud and threw it with all his might.
The mud landed with a splash close by Benandonner.
The mud that Finn threw at Benandonner was named the Isle of Man!!

First, I read this book with boring. But after the idea of Oonagh, I think it is funny story.
And I like this ending; the mud was named the Isle of Man.

Today, I am going to talk about the book “Everything Is Changing.”
This story has a main character that is a poor boy.
When he got the 13th birthday, he got three things.
First is a birthday cake that was made by his mother. His family were so poor because his father lost his job about two years ago. So she had to go next door to use the oven because they do not have one in their house.
Second, he was given a notebook by his father. His father said that he will need to use it to keep track of his life.
Third, his father had found a job for him. So he stared working for a man who made houses at 14th May, 1934.

They were in the middle of hard times.
So many people lost their jobs and they could not find new one.
So his father could not get it, too.
Then, he was working hard for his family. And fortunately, he had good boss in his job.
When he started the job, he was retired the school. So he sometimes missed school and his friends. He wanted coming house early and to play with his brother.
His job was so hard and he was always dirty. But he did not mind, because he was learning a lot about how to make all kinds of things.
Almost one year later, he has helped his boss make five sheds, two houses and a garage. And, his father could find new job so he do not have to work all day long.
Now, he can go to the movie with his friends.
His father said that the bad times are coming to an end, and things are getting better and better all the time.

I can enjoy reading this book. This book encourage me well. I want recommend this book for my friends.

Movie Review High School Musical

I am going to talk about the movie “high school musical.” I watched the movie last night with my sister. Maybe my sister rented by the rental shop near my home.I will introduce the character in this movie. The main character’s name is Toroy.He is a star in his high school because he is captain of the basketball team in his high school. Then, his father is a coach of the team. He is very good basket player and many students in the high school want to be friend with him.
One day, he met a girl in the party and they sung a song together. He thought that he was not good at singing. But he could sing over his thinking. He was happy at the time and she is happy too. Her name is Gabriela. In the night, they said good bye after singing. But they met after that because she came to his school as transfer student. They would be in same class and they fall in love with each other. Toroy is a captain of his basketball team but he would like to try a stage of drama club. Gabriela is so clever and she was invited to the chemistry club. So she was thinking about the stage of drama club. They gave up once but they tried finally.
In this club, there are two important people. Sharpay is a beautiful lady who has a power in the drama club and her brother, Lian, is like a servant of her.
They are always act main character in the stage of the club. But, they knew that Toroy and Gabriela will try the audition so they did some bulling to Toroy and Gabriela.
Toroy and Gabriela had many problems and they had a quarrel but finally they made it up with each other and they could sing a song together in the stage.

This is a youth movie and the actors are s good. I like Zack Eflon and Vanessa. Zack and Vanessa are the couple in this movie but they are real couple in their private.
I am jealous of her for dating cool Zack!

I went to Green Land in ...I do not know.
I went there as a welcome picnic for freshman. We could get new twenty friends in my club.

I think she would be tightly. She often help me. Miwako is too kind! She looks cute and she is kind every time I meet. But she said that she is not kind in her mind. wara. Yuko is funny. She got a boyfriend who called Asshy. She is S. She is good at monomane so she often say "E~" like Masuo. Sakura is cute and she looks like Chip and Dale. She is tightly and she is lady. She often pay attention. Sayuki is so beautiful girl. I like her smile. She looks so cute but her mind is cool. She is like older sister in my club. Mayo is yanki now. But she is not firm and she always kind for everyone. Yuika is kind, too. Yuika was taken to my club from Mayo and we would friend last summer. She is S like Yuko so she is stronger that her boyfriend. Saori is too cute! I love her. She is so girlly and her voice is cute but she say always "Jibun". It is her gap. Her family name is same with me. Miyu is sexy and beautiful girl. She did Soshoku like me. She have many friend. When I send mail to 2nd grade members, Miyu often reply mail. I am always glad. Hi. I want to talk about my spring vacation.

I went to Tokyo Disney Resort with my boy friend. This year is the 25th Anniversary year of Tokyo Disney Resort. On the first day, we went to Tokyo Disney Land. We could see the parade, "Jubilation."

We spent a Hotel Miracosta. It is a official hotel of Tokyo Disney Sea. So we went to Disney Sea, too. It was my first time.

I loved the world of Disney Sea!! There were so beautiful and the place made my happy!

And, we had special care. We could go back to hotel when ever we want to. It was so convenience.

I would like to go Tokyo Disney Sea again!! And I would like to spend at Hotel Miracosta again!!

After my trip to Tokyo, My family went there. But they did not take me there...

I was so sad. But they bought to me many souvenir so I am not sad now♪

I am a president of flower arrangement club. So I would introduce about my club at stage in the gymnasium for freshman. I did a performance to make them lough. But I could not good performance so I got a depressed heart after that...

I read a book for my book review. The story is very famous. A farmer tugged a big turnip. And his wife helped him. And her son, Jack, helped them. And his dog helped them. And a cat helped them. At last, a bird helped them. The bird pecked the cat's tail. The cat bit the dog's tail. The dog pulled Jack's shirt. Jack helped his mother's skirt. She hugged the farmer. The farmer grabbed the turnip and everybody tugged. Finally, the enormous turnip popped out! And they felt happy! But, they had to eat every morning, every lunch and every diner the turnip. So the farmer decided that he will grow carrots.

They would be change with their heart. One day, they thought that they could get many golden eggs at once after killing the goose. They did it. But in the goose, there were no golden eggs. And they became poor again. They have never found the golden eggs after that.

I was sick 12th January. I got influenza the day before The Coming of Age Day. I could not go the ceremony and I could not go alumni association at the night. I had a 9 degree. I know him when I was junior high school student. We were same junior high school. But we were in different class. So we had never talked there. And, we were in same high school, too. We were in Kumamoto Gakuen University Fuzoku High School. And in this school, we were not in same class, too. But I knew him because he got tall in high school. When he was junior high school student, he was so small. However, he would be tall good boy speedy. It was amazing for me. Ayako is so funny girl. I think she is strange still now. But when she was in Minnesota, she did bad or funny things almost everyday. She was mood maker for us. We love her and we like to talk with her. She always says mysterious things. And her host mother was sooooo kind!! Her name is Veronica. We were surprised at her kindness to Ayako. She was so lucky girl! Ayako said that she did not have her comfortable place in Japan so she did not would like to go back to Japan. She often talked to Veronica that she will back to Minnesota in this winter. But of course she did not. Yuki is my new friends in this program. I did not know her when we alive at the U.S. I got a sick first day and she talked to me “Are you all right, Keiko?" I was grad to hear that words and we would be friend soon. She looks so clever but she is little unique. She had one host family, too. Her host mother was a teacher in private school. She was so serious and she spoke English very very fast. I was amazing. Yuki often said" I could not understand her English but I may be able to make sense what she tells." Her host mother is vegetarian so she always ate vegetable. Ai is my special friend. I like her so much. She has good skill of communication. She is able to talk with everyone. She has positive thinking and negative thinking. She always understands her own idea. She has imagination. But she did misunderstand often. It was funny. My host mother like her because she speak to them friendly. We went to school together every morning. The reason why Ai and I went to school together was we were in same town. We went to the church by Alaina or Suzan's car and we rode on the ban. It was alike LOVEWAGON in Ainori. We got　on the ban with student from Rikkyo last few weeks. It would be good memory for us. Keishi, Yuhei, Ayako, Yuki, Ai, and I were always together in Minnesota. We made special memories and we could made good friend ship. Most of them were man but I and my host mother Alaina and her sister Emily joined their hard work. And another day, I rode a jet ski!! Of course it was my first time for me. It was so fun! First, I rode on a swimming ring it was connected with Jet Ski. I was little scared but I felt fun!! I was so exited!! Next, I rode on the seat of Jet Ski with Alaina. She drove and I rode behind her. She did strange driving. She was challenger so she did dangerous driving. First day, I did not drive by myself because I could not make decision. Next day, I tried driving!! Sooooo fearful it was! However, it was too fun!! I could go where I would like to go. And I did some jump and I turned many times. I thought that many families in Minnesota have Jet Ski or like that. It was so good for their children to become familiar to water; see and lakes and so on. Have you ever did jet ski? I want you to ride some day!Next, I did shoot real guns!! I was afraid of guns. My host mother's dad has a lot of guns in his secret room. On 17the August, Alaina and Derek and Emily took me to their gun shooting place because It was my last weekend in Minnesota in this program. They thought that I should to go through American original experience. We went to there by one car. It took about two hours to reach there. We went to nice hamburger restaurant on that way. We ate a lot and all of us drunk a smoothie chocolate drinks. I forgot the name of the drink but it was so popular on the U.S. I think.I did shooting by myself. It was so fearful and the sound was too big! So we put on each ears ear caver to protect ears. We drew some paintings on the board. These were the target. The first time I shoot, I was jump back because of a impact of the gun. I was surprised the power of gun’s impact. I could got fake roon ;> And I thought that they were so cool when they were aiming their target. After shooting, we went to the lake and play their. Then we went to the little forest and we climbed a tower. We looked down the city. When the wind taught my face on the tower, I remembered the nature and people and everything of Minnesota. I will introduce the movie　”Mission Impossible.”
Ethan Hunt is a main character in this movie. He is a member of IMF in United States of America. He was left a big task. They have to catch a list of CIA staff’s when Golitsyn were stealing. But He lost his 5 companions by this task. He could survive alone. After that, he was told that the list was fake and he is doubted as traitor. He met Claire who should have killed. He doubts her first but he begun to join hand with her and he decided that he will get a list of CIA. Hunt thought his boss, Kittridge are doubtful person. And he met a Jim who should shot. He said he does not want Claire to know that he is alive. And he said that Kittridge is the real traitor.
He gave to Max the list and Max told where are the money. However, he had an idea to interrupt send the list. Max could not send because of the blanketing.
Claire went to the room where are the money, there were Lim. But Claire was not surprised. “We should not kill Hunt. Let’s arrest him.” Jim was the real traitor and Claire was his companion. But, the Jim was a fake and he is a Hunt. Hunt had thought that Jim and Claire were traitors so he caught their voice at his glasses’ video and Kittridge could hear that that the real traitor was.
Jim run away with his companion, Kriger. But finally, Hunt could throw them down!
Hunt got a chance to enter the CIA but he did refuse and he went back to his home.
It is my first time to watch this movie. Of course I know the music!! It is so famous. And I knew from this movie that Tom Cruise is very cool!! I want to watch the Mission Impossible ll and the Mission Impossible lll. Thank you for reading.(329words:7831words)

This movie’s leading character is Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz. When they acting this movie, both of them were not so famous. Actually, this movie made two big Hollywood Star!

The leading character’s name is Stanley. He was working at bank and he was so shy and earnest man. He met a beautiful girl in his bank. Her name is Tina. Right after he met her, he fell in love with her.
One day, he discovered a strange mask on the way to back to home. It looks just wood mask but he had mask on his mind a little.
He put the mask on his face without worrying. But it stuck strongly soon. He was so surprised. He got big change not only his looks but also his inner side. He changed everything in reverse. He went out home with fast turn!!
The next morning, a policeman came to his house. He was no idea. But a policeman told that he did last night. He was so surprised at that fact. He had thought that it was a just dream. He was scared and he did throw away it out of the window which is on his room. But soon the mask returned to his hand. When he was mask man, he could talk with Tina and Tina like his strength. But when he was just a Stanley, he could not approached to her well. After that, he faced some trouble but he could got over them. Finally, he could help Tina and throw Dorian down!

Of course I have watched this movie before. I love this movie and I love “Toy Story2 , too. This movie gave children a lot of power and fun. I have younger sister so we often talk about this movie. “Yumeno Kanata he Saa Ikuzo!” This is a famous speech by Buzz Light-year.
This is fantastic Disney story. In this world, there are a lot of toys who are alive! It is fun for us sooo much!
Woody, the leading character, is a toy of cowboy. He is favorite toy of Andy. And Andy’s toys are able to talk, move, think, run, and play. They are good friend. I will introduce about some of them. Mr. Potato Head, Rex, Hum, Slinky, Green Army Men and Little Green Men. They are also famous toys. Andy like every toys and he especially like Woody. One day, Woody were fluttering well. The reason why he was nervous is the day was Andy’s Birthday. He was worried about new toy from Birthday present. “Andy might be absorbed in new good toy and I must be forgot by him…” Woody thought.
And sadly, Andy got popular super hero “Buzz Light-year” and he were absorbed in his new special toy. Then, Woody and Buzz Light-year had a quarrel. Woody wanted Buzz to go out Andy’s house. But someday, they shouted out from Andy’s house’s window. It was bad accident and they were carried off to Sid’s room.

The third fairy wished that Rose will have grace in all she does. The fourth fairy wished that Rose will have grace in all she does. The fourth fairy wished that she will dance to perfection. The fifth fairy wished that she will play every instrument like an angel, and sixth fairy wished that she'll sing like a nightingale. However, icy air swept through the Great Hall before the seventh fairy wished. Nightshade who is the mean fairy appeared. Nightshade angry with king and Queen because they didn't invite her to the feast. So, Nightshade wished that Rose will pluck her finger on a spinning wheel and die on her sixteenth birthday. And then, Nightshade disappeared. The king and the queen were grieve. However they had a little hope because the seventh fairy didn't wish for Rose yet. So, she wished that Rose would prick her finger, but you wouldn't die and she and everyone in this castle would fell into a deep sleep and only a kiss from her true love will break the spell. And then, the years passed and Rose grew like a girl that the fairies had withed. A dance party was held for her because her 16th birthday drew near. And she found a woman spinning a silky thread. A old woman took her hand and Rose fell to the floor.Everyone in the castle fell a sleep according to the seventh fairy's wish. So, Rose was known as Sleeping Beauty. I am going to talk about my memories in Minnesota. First, I will introduce my host family. There were two people in my host family. My host father, Derek, and host mother Alaina. They are so unique and they like funny things so much. They are young couple. Derek is 28 years old and Alaina is 29 years old. They are so kind and I felt that they were seemed as if my brothers. They do not have child so they were planning to adopt. I hard that many family do adoptions in the U.S. It was interesting for me. My friend Ai and I asked about adoptions to my host mother. She works answering phones in the office. But she has a license of Social Studies teacher. She is looking for a job where in high school. She likes to know about society and she has a lot of knowledge about politics, cultures, and history of many countries. She told us about adoptions. I was asked about relations between China and Japan. I talked to her my opinion but I do not know what is right. She was interested in it and her eyes were so seriously. I remember her eyes still now. Derek is so kind! He is gentleman. He always smiling and he had me in his mind. Alaina has two brothers and a sister. Older brother’s name is Evin. He is so funny and his talk was always amusing to me. He let me to drive in the parking of super market. I do not have driving license so it is my secret only here. He always makes us laugh. And, he is so handsome boy and playboy. I think he have made many girls cry. Joe is Alaina’s younger brother. He is 22 years old so I can talk to him naturally. Younger sister’s name is Emily! I love her so much! She is kind sooooo much. I liked to go walk with her around her house. She came to my house when my host family is not at house. She did prepare my diner when I was sick. I realty appreciated to her.
One big memory was making concrete in my host family’s garage. There were a lot of man who have muscle enough. I joined there and I tried making. They are kind for me and I could enjoy making. It is my good memory in Minnesota.
